About This Game

Inspired by the fan-acclaimed SUGURI series by Orange_Juice, Overflare is a fast-paced side-scrolling bullet hell where survival depends on mastering two core mechanics: Dash and Overdrive.

Cut through enemies with style as you weave through dense bullet patterns, build your Overdrive, and unleash devastating attacks.

Core Features

 Intense Side-Scrolling Bullet Hell Action

Dash Through the Chaos

• Use your high-speed dash to zip through the battlefield.
• Become invincible to beams and lasers while dashing—perfect your timing to survive impossible situations.

Overdrive System – Unleash Powerful Abilities

• Build your Overdrive Gauge by attacking enemies and grazing projectiles.
• Choose from three unique Overdrives for different playstyles:
  • Accelerating Overdrive: Slow down the world and weave through dense bullet curtains.
  • Blazing Overdrive: Unleash a rapid barrage with animation canceling and boosted fire rate.
  • Covering Overdrive: Clear bullets with a powerful shockwave and extend your survival.

Risk-Reward Scoring System

• Designed for players who thrive on pushing their limits.
• Balance survival and aggression to maximize your score—high risk, high reward gameplay.
