Release Information
- Demo Version: v0.5
- Demo Release Date: Nov. 06, 2025
New Additions
- Project Salamander has a real name now: Overflare! Though, the title logo is still a placeholder for now. Stay tuned for the real logo!
- Stage 2 Preview is now available.
Changes
Player Related
- Player indicator is now hidden during dialogue
- Increased graze hitbox size to match the size of player indicator's inner circle
- Reduced the volume of grazing sound effect
- Changed target switch logic: After defeating an enemy, the next target will be the one that spawned after the defeated enemy instead of the earliest spawned enemy currently on the stage
Covering Overdrive
- Increased overdrive meter cost for taking damage during overdrive from 300 to 500 (15% -> 25% of the max overdrive meter)
Misc
- Updated Unity version to 6.000.2.7.f
- Changed background music for Stage 1 boss
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where player may take damage after boss being defeated and dialogue finished
- Fixed the sudden lag when Stage 1 boss fight starts
Known Issues
- Score from replay may not match the recorded score of the replay file
- Laser weapons from either player side or enemy side may generate huge white bright ball on the screen
